ABOUT
Who Are We?
Founded in 1991, the Colorado Oncology Society (COS) is the largest oncology professional organization in the state. COS comprises a powerful community of oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary care providers involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.
COS is one of 24 State Chapter Members managed by the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC) and is a State Affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Our members receive valuable educational content and innovative resources designed to keep them ahead of the local and national challenges and trends directly impacting the high-quality care their patients deserve.
Mission
Empowering an interdisciplinary community to provide high quality cancer care in Colorado.
Vision
We envision Colorado as a national leader in cancer care.
Our goals are to:
- Advocate on state and federal legislative issues impacting patient access to care;
- Provide an education forum for our members on the current technologies and medical best practices in cancer care delivery; and
- Communicate changes and updates in oncology practice to our members and the broader community.
